CREATION OF MY OWN COMPANY

“Engineering Partners” (August 2019)

MONDELEZ EXPERIENCE

Experience with Mondelēz International (January 2014 – June 2019)

 Vice-President Global Engineering

Drastically transformed the Engineering function within this Snacking Company.

My teams revolutionized the entire Supply Chain through Standardization of all platforms for all categories (biscuit, chocolate, gum & candy, powdered beverages) and through world class Project Execution of very large and challenging investments (Factory of the Future concept).

We led all CapEx related activities, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring (around 5% of our Net Revenues, USD 1,6 billion in 2015).

The 800+ engineers in the company, under my direct leadership, designed and built production lines and factories with breakthrough performance results, enabling huge productivity savings (3,7% net productivity).

In collaboration with our Business and R&D colleagues, we developed new technologies allowing for growth through Innovation, in each of the 4 categories.

Following the Vision I built when joining MDLZ, Engineering became a global function in July 2015, allowing us to create a seamless technical community. I developed and grew all MDLZ engineers and elevated the function within the Supply Chain organization, to become a  key enabler for increasing both bottom and top line growth of the Company.
